GHOST Treeless Saddles

GHOST is a range of highly adjustable, flexible, close-contact treeless saddles designed for rider and horse comfort, with lots of customization in materials, seats, and fit. They are designed and made in Italy.

• Weight: Very lightweight, only  4-6kg
• Comfort & fit: Extra seat "twist" reduces hip stress, gives close contact feel, and supports a correct shoulder-hip-heel position without forcing it
• Flexible construction: No hard parts — flexes with the horse's movement; stirrup and girth rigging are built into the side plates rather than hung over the spine
• Customizable: Adjustable panels, adjustable girth strap positions for a better fit, interchangeable seats, and two stirrup positions for GP or dressage riding
• Thigh rolls in GP or dressage angles for security without restriction
• Sizing: Three sizes — Standard (18"), Piccolo (17"), Bambini (16")

 The GHOST saddle's base is made from layered, strong yet flexible materials, giving stability while still allowing a "twist" for the rider. Materials include:

• Micropell (synthetic leather)
• Montecchio (Nylon/Polyurethane fabric)
• Carbon (reinforcement around stirrups/rigging)
• Biothane Granite (belting)
• Steel (1-2mm in the arch; thicker for high-withered, narrow horses)
• Stainless steel (rings and studs)

Fit & adjustability: Two girthing configurations accommodate different horse conformations, and the saddle's structure self-adjusts to suit various shapes, sizes, and breeds — useful for riders with multiple horses. It works with English leathers, slip-on fenders (1"), or a Western fender option, and offers two stirrup positions (forward leg or straight leg).

Stability & comfort: Even on hard-to-fit horses, the GHOST offers strong spinal clearance and weight distribution thanks to soft Sympanova panels, which allow airflow/breathability and can be customized with foam inserts and shims. Panels are repositionable for a horse-specific fit.

Rigging options:

• Standard: a sliding V-rigging, positioned wide for stability, that moves with the horse's stride
• Puro or Cavallin rigging — two wide-spaced straps for added stability

Panels: Available in two styles, attached via velcro and positionable per horse — closed panels for a neat look, or open panels to allow rider balance adjustments.

 Base types: Four base types with different flexibility to suit the needs of you and your horse. Standard, Semi-Flexx, Flexx and Cavallin 

There is a GHOST seat for every rider and the variety is endless! 

Once you've chosen the base style for your horse you can choose the seat style for you!  In general seats are interchangeable onto the same size base so you can have a jump seat and a dressage seat and just swap them over as needed.

GHOST has just released a new concept, the GHOST C with a more traditional english look and interchangeable flaps and seats.

Materials: Seats come in a choice of Nubuck, oiled Nubuck, leather, suede, wool, sheepskin, or three synthetic options and endless colour combinations.
